Llanelli Rotary Club's Young Chef Competion

Our success is on a roll with Llanelli Rotary Club's competition. Last week saw the Young Chef Competition with our very own Ashden and Aimee as participants. Last term both pupils expressed an interest in taking part and entered our own preliminary round, producing winning dishes! With superb recipes for a three course meal, clever cooking and creative presentations, Aimee and Ashden shared their delights with the Rotary Club last week. Ashden served a Moroccon delight of humous, mouth-watering couscous and a scrumptious fruit meringue. Aimee chose the theme of Alice in Wonderland with a goat's cheese tartlet, teriyaki pork with sticky coconut rice, and a delightful mousse with chocolate shortbread! It was truly outstanding with Aimee taking the runner-up at the competition! Fantastic news and a superb achievement!
