Austria 2014
On February 21st, 30 pupils and six staff headed for the Austrian Alps. Ski jackets and snow boots on board for a truly exhilarating experience.
Our resort, Montafon Valley, was breath taking. Snow covered mountains, well maintained pistes, a superb ski-school and excellent facilities made for a truly memorable holiday.
The week took us to a number of resorts in Montafon, catering for beginners, intermediate and advanced alike. Coedcae certainly do boast talented skiers, skilful, experienced and always full of fun.
Every moment became a cherished memory; most noteable when the beginners hit the button lift for the first time, Miss John going on a lift and Miss Tucker sliding down a ‘Red’ run!! This was to be coupled with the girls spending lunchtimes dancing on the mountain tops with the boys dancing on ice by night.
What a fantastic week! Superb pupils, a privilege to take them away and true ambassadors of school; team players with a perfect balance of learning to ski and sense of humour that led us to laugh until we cried.
Can’t wait for next year – look out Kitzbull!!!
