In the Science Department we aim to create and sustain an interest and enjoyment of Science in all our pupils.

Pupils build up a body of scientific knowledge and understanding, applied to how science works and its essential role in society.

We ensure pupils develop practical skills through scientific enquiry.

We promote an understanding of the technological and environmental applications of science and its impact on the local and wider communities; including those related to the environment and quality of life.

We aim to develop literacy, numeracy and I.T. skills, through science.
