Croeso i'r Adran Leithoedd Modern

The MFL Department provides learners with the opportunity to study both French and Spanish from Year 7 to GCSE Level.

Activities within lessons encourage learners to develop an ability to use both languages and to make comparisons with English and Welsh. Lessons are engaging and involve fun interactive activities such as games, puzzles, working in groups and in pairs.

We offer learners a range of experiences which include cultural visits to Spain and links with schools in France. The department contributes to raising standards of literacy. All Year 7 learners take part in the French National Spelling Bee Competition.
