Digital Resilience Support for Parents and Carers
As a parent or carer, you play a key role in helping your child to develop their digital resilience and stay safe online.
Our children and young people are spending more time online, whether that is for entertainment, to stay in touch with friends and family or to support their learning. There are clearly many benefits to staying connected, however, increased time spent online may also increase the risk of encountering online safety issues.
We recognise that as a parent or carer you may have concerns about this. The links below are intended to help you to quickly navigate the digital resilience guidance available and access the information and advice you need.
The links below include practical tips on how to set up age-appropriate parental controls on devices and guidance on specific online issues.
You do not need to be an expert in digital tools to help keep your child safe online and we as a school are always here to support and help your child to become digitally resilient.
